Throne’s Commitment to Data Security

At Throne, the security and privacy of Members' data are foundational to the company’s mission.

Our mission is to help you be a good steward of your health, with the ultimate goal of creating technology that can one day save lives. To achieve this, we know we need to be good stewards of your personal health information too.

Data Flow and Protection

Information collected by the Throne hardware is encrypted in transit to our servers, using TLS 1.2 or higher.

And, all of your data on our database is encrypted, both in transit and at rest.

When your data travels from your device to our servers, it’s like sending a message in code. Even if the information was intercepted, it would be essentially impossible to understand.

Once your data reaches our servers, it remains encrypted and in this state. Even if someone gained access to our servers, they could not get access to your information.

For iOS users, your phone’s built-in security ensures that your data is encrypted when your device is locked, providing additional protection.

Vulnerability Disclosure

At Throne, we recognize the critical role security researchers play in safeguarding our users’ digital environment. Although we haven't established a formal bug bounty program, we genuinely value and encourage responsible disclosure of potential vulnerabilities.

If you identify a security concern, we invite you to reach out directly to our security team at security@thronescience.com. We are committed to thoroughly investigating each report and ensuring transparent communication.

Researchers who contribute to our security ecosystem will be the first to know about any future bug bounty initiatives.
