Does Throne work with a bidet?
Yes. Throne is explicitly designed to work alongside bidet setups, and many of our members use both without any issues.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it down with a damp cloth. That's the entire routine.
How often do I need to charge Throne?
About once a month. Throne ships with a 13-foot charging cable so you can charge it from across the bathroom without ever removing it from your toilet.
Does Throne require WiFi?
Yes. Throne syncs your data over your home WiFi network. If WiFi is temporarily unavailable, sessions will sync once connectivity is restored — nothing is lost.
Will Throne fit my toilet?
Throne is designed to fit most standard residential toilets and clips onto the rim — no tools, no permanent installation required. It's currently compatible with white toilets with a rim thickness of up to 2.25 inches. The only toilets we've encountered that exceed this are a small number of high-end luxury models.
Can I use my account on more than one Throne?
Yes. Your Throne account moves with you across multiple devices — your home, a second home, a family member's house. All insights collect into one continuous picture, no matter which bathroom you're in.
How many people can share one Throne?
Up to six users can share a single Throne device, each with their own private account and profile. Data stays completely separate between users — no one sees anyone else's insights.
How does Throne know who's using it?
When you sit down, Throne's motion sensor wakes the device, then sends a quiet Bluetooth signal to identify which paired account is in the room. If no paired phone is detected, Throne stays off — protecting the privacy of guests, children without accounts, and anyone else who uses your bathroom.
What if I don't bring my phone with me?
No problem. Throne has two buttons on the device that let you start a session manually without your phone nearby. Your data syncs over WiFi as soon as your phone is back in range.
How does Throne identify me without compromising my privacy?
Throne uses a quiet Bluetooth handshake to recognize paired accounts — it never stores biometric data or images tied to your identity. If no paired phone is detected, the device stays off entirely. Guests and anyone without an account are never tracked.
Is my data private?

Is Throne FSA/HSA eligible?
Yes. Throne can be purchased with FSA and HSA funds through our partners at Truemed. Using pre-tax dollars can reduce your effective cost significantly depending on your tax bracket.
Does Throne integrate with my wearable?
Wearable integrations are on the roadmap. We're especially interested in correlating sleep and hydration data — research shows that dehydration raises core body temperature and degrades sleep quality, and that poor sleep leaves you more dehydrated. When these integrations ship, Throne becomes the missing layer connecting your wearable to what's happening inside your body.
